One of the lasting legacies of the OpenMod4Africa project will be the African Energy Modelling Network (AEMN). The Network is being established as a pan-African, African-led platform dedicated to advancing open, transparent, and collaborative energy system modelling to address Africa’s energy transition challenges.
OpenMod4Africa hereby invites Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from qualified organisations to host the AEMN.

Interested organizations are requested to submit their EoI via email to info@africanenergymodellingnetwork.net with copies to dawit.habtu@aau.edu.et and kanchi.gashaw@veritasethiopia.com, using the subject line: “Expression of Interest for Hosting the African Energy modelling Network (AEMN)”.
The deadline for submission is 24 June 2026. Please note that hard copy applications will not be accepted.
